Today we will begin more research, but mostly on the topic of the egg deploying with the parachute from the rocket because that is our most up and coming deadline on December 12th. We also are doing research to figure out the different equations we have to use for determining the center of pressure for our rocket which has to be finished on December 21st. While our egg deploy model is most important right now, we also have to figure out how the rocket will work with the egg model due to weight, size and height. After we went over all this, Mr.Holler brought out some of the supplies like the parachute material, a nose cone, 2.75" body tube, 2" body tube and 1" clear body tube. So now seeing these supplies we decided to start on our egg drop model because we now know what the rocket is like. After going through many different ideas, we decided to do a box with bubble wrap inside and the egg inside of Easter egg stuffed with confetti. We based our idea off of a video we saw on YouTube, this idea seemed very effective. So we are starting a 3D model on sketch up and will most likely start the physical model on Monday, December 5th.
